Witness is the contemporary praise band for Foothills United Methodist Church in La Mesa, California. We provide musical leadership in the 10:30am service, otherwise known as “2nd Service”, every Sunday morning.Participation in Witness is by invitation, but don’t be shy. We are always interested in hearing new singers with a passion for sharing the Word through music.We have offered songs from such diverse Christian artists as Lincoln Brewster, Casting Crowns, Kutless, Francesca Battistelli, Third Day, Addison Road, 33Miles, MercyMe, and many more. We also believe in creating a theologically sound relationship to the music of the secular world. To that end, we have shared in worship the music of Train, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Goo Goo Dolls, U2, Darius Rucker and others.
